Mikes are also immune to any mental attacks. They also enter a rage mode after taking damage, just like a berserker would. More commonly known as SCP 3033-1 instances, these killing machines are Packed in armor and Heavy equipment. They always drop this ammo for your units to use it in the field. Tier 2 and tier 3 psions use ammo that applies a custom effect, that is essentially a cognitohazard. Later they upgrade to better gear and stats. At first they are armed with a stolen advent mag rifle (If you have so much of this stuff laying around why not use it?), and a solace ability. Insurgency was one of first to start experimenting with elerium, which let them create psionic troopers pretty early. Later on they get better guns, and better stats. They are really mobile and they will try to flank you at all times. They are equipped with shotguns, hazmat vests, and later they get gas grenades. Recruits make up At least half of each Chaos Insurgency field squad. There are tier two and tier three variants of each insurgent, granting them better gear and stats. These guys are rather tough, so watch your step, and make sure they spend their time shooting at aliens, and not at you!
